## Scenario

A developer wants an independent, self-hosted tech blog: publishing articles over time, organizing by topic, engaging readers and understanding traffic.

## Approach

* **Posts and columns**: use categories for stable sections and columns for series.
* **Interaction**: enable comments and email notifications to follow reader feedback.
* **Site configuration**: set the avatar, bio, social links and about page to build a personal brand.
* **Analytics**: use the dashboard to see content performance and visitor geography.

## Steps

2. Complete your profile in [Site settings](/v1/en/guide/admin/site).
3. Publish content via [Authoring](/v1/en/guide/admin/article-editor).
