# Home and navigation

> Home page structure and site navigation.

The home page is the visitor's first screen, composed of a banner, navigation, profile card and content modules.

## Home page parts

* **Banner**: the site's main visual, configurable in the console.
* **Navigation**: entries for home, archive, categories, tags, moments, friends and about.
* **Profile card**: avatar, nickname, bio and social links.
* **Content modules**: featured posts, latest posts and moments.
* **Custom section**: custom content configured in the console, shown in the blog sidebar.

## Site information

The site name, logo, avatar, carousel, social links and footer are maintained in the console under Pages, and rendered from site configuration.

## Reading experience

* Responsive layout for desktop and mobile
* Lazy-loaded assets for a faster first paint
* Back-to-top and other basic interactions
